About Allt-a-Bhainne

A short way from Dufftown, Allt-a-Bhainne, 'the milk burn', was built by Seagram in 1975 as a modern workhorse: everything in one room, and the whole process runnable by a single person. Its spirit is a principal malt in Chivas Regal, so it is seldom seen under its own name, which makes a cask of its light, clean, floral spirit something of a find. Chivas Brothers (Pernod Ricard).
