Port Charlotte is the heavily peated spirit of Bruichladdich, made on the Rhinns of Islay by the shore of Loch Indaal and named after the neighbouring village. All its barley is Scottish, some of it grown on Islay, and it runs through the distillery's tall, narrow-necked Victorian stills. Expect deep smoke wrapped around a surprisingly elegant, fruity spirit. Rémy Cointreau's.
