On a farm in southern Funen, looking over apple orchards to the Langeland Strait, Jes and Gitte Mosgaard, a civil engineer and a social worker, founded their organic distillery in 2015. They follow Scottish methods with Danish raw materials and the island's very hard water, and are best known for whisky from sherry casks: rich, clean and fruity. Family-owned.
