Just west of Thurso, Wolfburn is the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. The first Wolfburn, founded in 1821, was the largest in Caithness before it fell into ruin in the 1860s; a new one rose 350 metres away in 2013, drawing on the same burn. This is its peated make, smoke over a crisp, coastal northern spirit. Aurora Brewing's.
