Say it Glen Geery. On the edge of Oldmeldrum, in the valley once called the granary of Aberdeenshire, Glen Garioch has distilled since 1797, one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries. When water ran short in 1968, a new source was found on a neighbouring farm, a spring hidden so well it could be neither seen nor heard, and named the Silent Spring.
