How the price compares
At
£151.80, this 24-year-old cost more than all 5 Glenrothes bottlings of any age released 2021–2022 that we hold. They ranged from £51 to £59, with a median of £54. We don’t hold enough Glenrothes bottles of a similar age, so this compares across all ages; older casks usually cost more.

About Glenrothes
In a glen beside the Burn of Rothes, Glenrothes ran its first spirit on 28 December 1879, the night the Tay Bridge fell. Fires in 1897, 1922 and 1962 and an explosion in 1903 gave it a turbulent youth, and each rebuild brought more stills, now ten. It keeps no visitor centre and opens only by invitation. The spirit is ripe, fruity and generous. Edrington's.
