How the price compares
At
£103.80, this 23-year-old cost more than all 9 Benrinnes bottlings of any age released 2022–2023 that we hold. They ranged from £59.10 to £96.80, with a median of £75. We don’t hold enough Benrinnes bottles of a similar age, so this compares across all ages; older casks usually cost more.

About Benrinnes
On the lower slopes of Ben Rinnes, above Aberlour, Benrinnes was founded in 1826, washed away by a flood three years later and rebuilt in a farmhouse's outbuildings. From 1974 to 2007 it ran a singular partial triple distillation, and its stills still condense in worm tubs, which leave the spirit heavy, meaty and faintly sulphurous, a thoroughly old-fashioned Speysider that blenders treasure. Diageo's.
