On the edge of Clydebank, beneath the Kilpatrick Hills, Auchentoshan has made whisky since 1823 and is one of the very few Scottish distilleries to triple-distil everything. German bombs hit its warehouses in the Clydebank Blitz; the crater now cools its stills as a pond. Suntory's.
