Beside the tumbling Pitilie Burn in highland Perthshire, John Dewar & Sons raised Aberfeldy in 1896 as the beating heart of their blends. The whisky carries a famous streak of heather-honey sweetness, golden and warming, and the distillery remains one of the friendliest doors in Scotch to walk through. Still Dewar's (Bacardi).
