At Carron on the Spey, Imperial was built by Thomas Mackenzie in 1897, in the last rush of the Victorian boom. It spent much of its century mothballed, opening and closing with the fortunes of the trade, and its only official bottling was a 15-year-old released in the 1990s. It was demolished in 2013 to make way for Dalmunach. Lost.
