About Ardmore
In Kennethmont, deep in Aberdeenshire farmland, Ardmore was built in 1898 by Adam Teacher to feed his family's blend, and it is still the heart of Teacher's Highland Cream. It is the mainland's quiet exception: a peated Highland malt, earthy and smoky far from any island shore. Its stills were fired by coal until 2001, and something of that old furnace warmth lingers. Suntory's.
