About Miltonduff

Six miles south-west of Elgin, Miltonduff stands on the site of the old mill of Pluscarden Abbey, whose water the monks prized; the Duff family gave the place its name and built a distillery in 1824. It has been a backbone of Ballantine's since 1936, and in 1960 pioneered a new way of heating its wash stills. Its spirit is clean, floral and gently sweet. Chivas Brothers (Pernod Ricard).
