About Glen Grant

In Rothes, with the Spey at its feet, Glen Grant has distilled since 1840, founded by two brothers who had been smugglers before they took out a licence. James Grant, 'the Major', first man in the Highlands to own a car, gave it tall, slender stills and purifiers, and they still shape a clean, fresh, gently fruity spirit, pale as straw. Italy fell for it long ago. Campari's.
