About Auchroisk
Auchroisk exists because of a spring. In the early 1970s Justerini & Brooks found that Dorie's Well, near Mulben, ran with water much like their Glen Spey's; they test-distilled it, liked what they tasted and built on the spot, and spirit first flowed in 1974 for the J&B blend. The result is soft, malty and orchard-fruited. Its Gaelic name, the shallow ford across the red stream, once struck marketers as unpronounceable. Diageo's.
