On a family estate between Dufftown and Glenlivet, at the foot of Ben Rinnes, Alasdair Locke and his stepson Alex Christou built Glenrinnes on a greenfield site in the late 2010s. Its organic Eight Lands gin and vodka take their name from the eight counties visible from the summit, and spring water runs down the hill to a pot still called Rebecca. Family-owned.
