About Cotswolds

At Stourton, near Shipston-on-Stour, Daniel Szor, a former City financier, founded the Cotswolds Distillery in 2014 to make English single malt the Scottish way. Gin came first, to pay the bills while whisky matured, and its Cotswolds Dry, made by steeping and boiling botanicals including local ones, was named the world's best London Dry in 2016. Independently owned.
