FEW's rye comes from Evanston, Illinois, the dry town where Frances Willard's temperance crusade began and where Paul Hletko opened the first distillery in 2011, naming it, with some mischief, after her initials. Distilled grain to glass from a rye-heavy mash, it is peppery, fruity and assertive, with a craft distiller's swagger. Heaven Hill's since 2022.
