About Kyrö Distillery
In Isokyrö, western Finland, five friends with no industry experience dreamt up a rye whisky distillery in a sauna, registered it in 2012 and first fired their stills in an old dairy in 2014. Finland had no rye whisky of its own, and they use nothing but Finnish wholegrain rye. Its gin, Napue, took off first; its rye is spicy, earthy and bready. Kyrö's.
